HOTEL Javier Prado Inn

The location is only intersting if you are doing business in the area. Some nice restaurants around, but that's it. Attention is ok, but the rooms are all but confortable: old, cold, the window don't close properly. Left something (quite expensive) in the room the day of departure, and when I called some hours later nothing was found... Guess someone was quite happy! Cannot recommend the place! Poor breakfast, worse wifi ever, you cannot work there and its not a vacation hotel.

Basic hotel in la Molina, in a busy commercial area, not much to do in the area , decent cafe next door, was not sure if it was part of the hotel or not but was OK , it served a purpose for me as I was meeting Friends in the vicinity for a few days, looked like it was an hotel suited for business travelers, could not fault the staff very friendly and helpful, furnishings getting a little dated. decent buffet breakfast.

The rooms are quaint and not bad. Service from the bell hop is great however at the desk it's sub par. Be prepared to be treated like you're not a paying customer and like you're a 10 year old asking your mother if you can leave the house to play if you are not Peruvian. They demanded a desk check in Everytime I left and as I returned as well as that I left my room key at the desk when I left the hotel. I noticed that locals who were staying here didn't have to do this. Also, if you have any guests they don't allow them to visit any longer than 15 minutes. My friend came over to visit an after 15 minutes they demanded that my fiend leave the hotel (this made me more angry due to the fact that I had to check my key Everytime I walked out the hotel a well as the fact that I was a paying guest!) ... I don't recommend this place to visitors of Lima unless you don't care about feeling like you're being supervised and not free to walk around the hotel.
