Staff are excellent and location very good and breakfast excellent too!

The location, the amazing staff and the bar and lounge areas. We felt very much at home in this beautiful accomodation.

This was by far our favourite stop , close to downtown, great view , clean, staff are above and beyond, Breakfast was great

No problems at all

The location is delightful, a nice 10 minute walk from the train station, with beautiful views over the port. Our room was quite small, but very cozy and comfortable and the public rooms are large, comfortable and cheerful. The meals were well prepared and enjoyable. Best of all was the staff, who are all personable, kind and helpful. They know the area well and had great suggestions to help us plan our time. We especially appreciated David’s extensive knowledge of whisky!

Perfect location, spotlessly clean, fantastic breakfast, and staff who go over and beyond to help. Can’t recommend enough!

Literally nothing to dislike!

Comfy room, friendly and very helpful staff, amazing breakfast. Home from home. Very welcoming everytime we returned to the hotel. Waitress at breakfast was fantastic, excellent service with a smile, nothing was too much trouble

The room was cold on arrival. Poor selection of red wines in the bar, what was available was not nice and overpriced, £17 for 250ml glass. Road noise from 6am, needs secondary glazing.

The Manor House is the best b&b I’ve stayed in, ever. Beautiful house, even more beautiful views, the bar and sitting room areas were delightful, and staff was beyond friendly and helpful. (They also had extremely good tips for scenic stops in the area and along our drive to Glasgow.) It all felt authentic and oldtimey in a very fun way. And the location was a short, scenic walk from the harbor area, which was excellent as well.

My group of 2 was traveling with a 3rd person who was staying elsewhere, and they were not able to accommodate her at breakfast, so we ate at a restaurant in the harbor instead. Not so much a downside as just something to be aware of as you plan your trip.
