The Manor House

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le charme du manoir, la vue sur la baie et le port depuis la bar, le parking de l'hôtel ainsi que le petit déjeuner copieux et servi entièrement à table. Le personnel était particulièrement prévenant, et nous avons beaucoup aimé être guides dans le choix de notre dégustation de whisky par un vrai spécialiste car la carte était fort variée. La literie confortable et le décor de la chambre nous ont beaucoup plu.

On a choisi de réserver une table pour le dîner à l'hôtel, nous avons trouvé que le menu n'est pas assez varié et que les portions étaient trop petites, mais tout était très bon.

Wonderful building, public rooms were excellent with views over the sea and mountains. And a perfect location to catch the ferry. Our room was exceptional. All facilities, king size bed and very spacious bathroom.

What a lovely little hotel! Only a short 10 minute stroll from the train station we were delighted with the Manor, fantastic staff, excellent room and a beautiful view of the bay. The room was very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom had recently been updated so was modern and the shower amazing. Breakfast was very good, both cooked and continental, and the coffee was strong and plentiful. The chap working while we were there was exceptional, fantastic local knowledge, helpful suggestions for heading into Oban and he stayed late to keep the bar open for us, despite having to be in for breakfast the next day, great customer service and a lovely bloke too. Overall we had a wonderful stay, would definitely recommend the Manor and would make a point of staying there again if we're in Oban.

This delightful property is situated a short walk from Oban. It has fantastic views across the harbour and towards the Ardnamurchan Peninsula. The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly.
