Our recent experience at a certain hotel was far from satisfactory. Several aspects left us disappointed and ultimately led us to make the decision to find alternative accommodations. First and foremost, the placement of our room on the second floor, directly above a pub, was a significant issue. The noise emanating from the pub below made it nearly impossible to find tranquility within our room. This proved to be highly inconvenient, especially when trying to rest or sleep peacefully. Additionally, the room had an unpleasant and lingering odor that persisted throughout our stay. Despite our attempts to mitigate the smell, it persisted, making our stay rather uncomfortable and less than pleasant. Furthermore, as we were traveling with a small child, we had concerns about the cleanliness and suitability of the hotel. It did not meet our expectations in terms of cleanliness standards, and we did not feel confident in staying there with our child. We had overlooked the fact that the rooms were directly connected to a pub, which was not an appropriate environment for a family. It seemed more suitable for couples seeking a temporary overnight stay after an evening spent in the pub itself. Taking into account these multiple issues, we ultimately decided not to continue our stay at this hotel. We opted to find alternative accommodations that better suited our needs and provided a more comfortable and family-friendly environment.
