Residence House Ruse

We liked how clean, cozy and stylish this hotel is. Great location by the river and the city center, with great views. The attention to detail and outstanding customer service really made our stay memorable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and exceptional hospitality.

There isn't anything I would change

The hotel is in excellent condition. Very clean, all furniture is new, every room is uniquely named. They have both soft and harder pillows, to accommodate everyone. I was happy to find some fruits in the room and complimentary water/sweets/coffee. The fruits were a very nice touch, especially for my son. The breakfast was very good, everything was fresh and tasty. The guy kept coming back to offer to help us with more of everything (juice, coffee, tea, smoked salmon and so on). You can see that they really try to offer exceptional service. You can see all the care they put in every detail. I was blown away when I asked for some lemon - they did not have one, since it wasn’t part of the regular breakfast items. But the guy said that he would happily buy some lemons for the next morning and, in general, they would be happy to buy anything else I would want for the breakfast if I asked them upfront. It is the first time a hotel staff makes such an offer to me, as a guest. This is what I call an excellent service. The location is also excellent - 1 minute from the riverside promenade, close to good restaurants and 5-7 minutes walking distance from the city center. Having read about noisy hotels in Ruse, I tried to stay away from such hotels and this hotel is great for quiet nights, for recharging your batteries. Also, I found that good English command is not very common in Ruse. That’s not the case at this hotel. I had no problem communicating well with the staff. They are friendly and even offered me a map with the landmarks in Ruse, in case I didn’t already have a plan.

I can’t say there’s anything I didn’t like. However, since Ruse is such a walkable city and has lots of biking routes, I would suggest they offer a bike rental service or maybe point customers towards a bike rental place. This is by no means a minus for the property, just an attempt at a friendly suggestion.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Ruse. The room was spacious with stylish furnishings and beautiful windows. The Danube was visible beyond the trees. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and we sat outside in the courtyard area.

Die Residence ist elegant, stilvoll und ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen. Es ist ein kleines Haus mit 11 Zimmern. Das Frühstück ist eher klein und sehr lecker und unterscheidet sich von großen Büffets. Es war alles sehr sauber und ordentlich. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und sprechen ausgezeichnet englisch. Die Lage am Donauufer ist ebenfalls toll. Ich würde wieder hierher kommen und das Residence House weiterempfehlen. Ich bin mit dem Zug angereist. Der Weg zum Bahnhof geht durch die Innenstadt und ist trotz der Distanz gut zu schaffen.
