Great location & terrace/garden

Excellent breakfast

Window in our bedroom was rotting and needs replacing

It was in a good location,plenty of parking and good value.Comfortable bed.Quiet. Breakfast was wonderful.

No shower enclosure over bath to prevent water splash. Decor and stair carpet looking tired and in need of a revamp. Outside needed Tlc . No lift although there looked to have been one at some stage

The hotel was smart and well decorated. Parking good. Pleasant staff.

Our room was on the 2nd floor. Good stairs to the first floor, but steep ones to 2nd. Maybe good for keeping fit, but tiring and a nuisance once you have done it several times. Bathroom also had shower over full height bath, but nothing to hold onto when stepping out, so potentially unsafe. Bathroom also lacked a shelf to put toiletries.

Room was spacious. Breakfast lovely. Location good, walking distance to two dog friendly pubs.

Toilet was a bit temperamental

Unfortunately our toilet flush broke during our 1 night stay. When we reported the malfunction it was obvious that the hotel, had been aware of the issue. If that's the case then why not fix it ,before allowing people to book it.

It's well situated within the village, we had a lovely room, the breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful!
