Iapetos Village

The location is fantastic. Central yet tucked away. I believe it’s the only hotel in the port with a pool. We had booked to stay five days here before going to Pedi Beach Hotel for five days. The sunbed area is very close to the pool and we ended up leaving two days early as a large American family with five kids arrived and the noise and splashing was too much for us. If there was space away from the pool we would have moved. I did ask the kids to stop splashing us. We decided to leave the hotel two days early as we were not able to relax and quietly read our books or swim on the pool as the children were consuming it. It’s not an adult’s only hotel so they are entitled and use it! It changes the vibe of the place a lot though so just something to think about. We stayed in a studio room which was a great size.

Great location, nicely presented hotel, clean room and good breakfast.

This is not the hotel to go to if you want to relax in the sun by the pool. The only loungers that are in the sun are right in the corner behind the pool wall. This results in people being very close in proximity to each other.

Location and room size

Didn’t feel as clean and cared for as it should be. Some of the cushions and bed coverings didn’t feel like they had been cleaned for some time.

The location was excellent, and the pick-up / drop-off at the port is very convenient and good. Check-in was fast and efficient. The room was OK, spacious. We stayed in a master suite.

The room was spacious, but you had to go downstairs to use the bathroom. Which is not safe in the early hours. It's not an ideal place to relax on a sunbed, very limited room around the hotel. The breakfast was average and limited in variety. I know it's self-service, but you have to go down two flights of stairs, load up your tray, then return to an exterior table, or your terrace to eat. Then, you were required to return your used items on the tray to the breakfast room. The breakfast staff were rude and not very helpful when making simple requests such as dairy free milk or to empty the coffee machine .I would return to Symi, but not this establishment.
