Hotel BAHÍA

Great location for walking into town. The staff were so lovely and helpful and called us one evening just to make sure we got back safely. Comfortable, spacious room with good a.c. Breakfast included and cheap laundry service.

Curtains are see-through and let in a lot of light. A small window had no curtains. Would be ideal if the drinking water was accessible as it's locked in the kitchen. There's some birds and turtles kept at the hotel in small, dirty enclosures for long periods of time. It seemed a bit inhumane.

It rained the day I stayed there, but the room was cozy. There's no street lights, and most of the stores close early, so nightlife is challenging-you would have to plan ahead, make reservations and know the route or hire a taxi. The beach is just down the block, but it's not very appealing and I generally don't go in the water if I am the only one around.

Friendly helpful staff, good food, short walk to town centre and 150m from public beach. Helpful Manager arranged Urber transport to San Pedro.

We are retired couple and rooms did not have reading lights or reliable hot water nor light blocking curtains. Chairs were very hard with no cushions. The nearby beach (not the town center beach which was cleaned daily) was disgusting with trash and feces and we would not use it.

Small hotel with friendly vibes. Included a typical breakfast which is quite simple but delicious. Good restaurant and really nice area for eating. The toucan is beautiful and they also have turtles.

Near the beach but not a beachfront property. View of the ocean is very limited.

The owners created a very nice environment. Room layout was well thought out. Attention to detail is obvious. Clean and welcoming staff. All was in good style and good condition.

Location was a bit east of where I wanted to be, but ample parking. Room was a bit small, but lots of room in the common areas which included a restaurant, small bar, and night security. The minor negatives were greatly overcome by the positives It was a bit difficult to pay the bill because the credit card system was not functioning. I did not mind paying cash.

The staff was super friendly and the premises really clean, they helped us with recommendations of places to go

We lost power the second night and it is impossible to sleep there without ac or a fan, the place doesn't have a generator and all the staff just went home leaving the security guard, we decided to drive back to our original location, we still have to pay full price👎🏾
