Schloss Schadau - Swiss Historic Hotel

Wonderful historical building, outstanding location by the gorgeous lake Thun. Very attentive and friendly staff. Very comfortable bedding and spacious airy room.

The breakfast could have more varieties.

Great meals here. I wish the rooms had better views of the lake, but they were amazing and the whole castle has a nice vibe. The staff is great and we really enjoyed our stay thought it was one night.

The lady at reception take extra fee she said its not included all tax also she asked for credit card information and we must give this is weird and our room its not the same at booking also i feel like this place have all older ppl inside its like care home for elderly people, i will never come again

Parking is not right next to the hotel – you need to walk a bit – but you can drive up to drop off your luggage first. The restaurant requires a mandatory reservation, and it’s really worth making one in advance as many guests come for the location and view. The food is rather basic, yet still tasty and satisfying.
