I stayed here for 5 nights and I could say it was very good value for the money. The room was so clean and spacious. The shared bathroom was clean and had stock of toilet paper and bath gels. Even though the bathrooms are shared, it was enough for the whole floor. The breakfast was healthy and fantastic and the coffee tastes so good! The hotel was 10 mins away from the station, although the walk was a struggle with my luggage, the view was very scenic! Thun is very beautiful and the staff in Hotel Schwert are very accommodating and friendly. I would definitely go back!!

I asked what coffee beans they used and the staff did not know because the machine is automatic haha. This is not really about the hotel but I just want to know the coffee used because I like it very much!

.."wir sind kein Sternehotel" bekam ich zur Antwort, als ich die viele Minderwertigkeiten ansprach. Minimalistischen Frühstück ab 8.00 Uhr. Der Zugang zum Zimmer durch eine Verwahrlosung Ausentreppe im Innenhof. Kein Bett, nur eine Mütze auf einer Halterung. Laut Ausschreibung ist es aber ein gehobenes 3-Sterne Hotel. In Wirklichkeit eine primitive Herberge. (Mein Zimmer). Also ein eingestanden Betrug
