Banana Home Stay Ubud

The room was spacious and had all the basics. The location was good and the WiFi worked well. It seemed relatively clean for the most part. The staff were very friendly.

The plug in my room was broken so I had to use the plug right next to the sink which felt a little dangerous having a bunch of electronics plugged in next to a sink. There was a dead cockroach in my room (but everything else seemed clean)

Very close to all attractions and walking distance to the Yoga Barn. Nice staff, simple and clean room with AC.

Would be nice to have a dedicated space for the motorbike.

The homestay provide hot water in vacuum bottle everyday. It feel like home, and can drink healthy beverage anytime. The host family is friendly and helpful. I am so appreciate their welcome and hospitality.

I loved the cleanliness of the room and the comfortable bed.

I stayed here for 2 months, and this is a truly special home stay with a wonderful family! I had such a great view of Ubud from my 3rd floor deck which overlooked Mt Agung and faced the sunrise. The room is comfortable and is cleaned thoroughly twice per week. Hot water and coffee/tea is brought to the room every morning. No kitchen, but Ubud has some of the most delicious food in the world at affordable prices. The location is in the center of Ubud, yet still quiet (8 mins to Yoga Barn). The bed is firm yet comfortable. AC and fan combo worked well, and the hot water is abundant. The value for the money is off the charts here!

There is a window facing the bed and high up on the wall that has no curtains! Therefore when the sun rises, it shines right into the room and into your face while you're trying to sleep. I was having a great stay until this, and it's so high up on the wall there's no way to cover it. I don't know why someone would design a room like this but it really ruined an otherwise good stay, as I only got about 6 hours sleep and really struggled to get back to sleep with the sun just shining in my face. If this was fixed I'd give it 8/9, but that's a big mistake Also I was never given any wifi

it felt like it was right in the middle of Ubud but it didn’t feel so busy as well. the homestay was in the perfect intersection of 2 streets, and in the morning you can see the sun rise on one side of your balcony and if you’re lucky you can have the moon peaking right above you while you have dinner outside your room. 🌞🌚 best part — they have this “pay with honesty” system for their water refilling. hehe!

it was a nightmare to find, Google maps was wrong, the sign for the place was barely visible, none of the lights in my room or bathroom were working, and there was no soap in the bathroom
