Hotel Sonne

The view is really nice. It was foggy and raining for our complete stay, but that is not the fault of the hotel. I can imagine with good weather that it muat be great. The pizza was really good in the restaurant. The staff tried their best to accommodate us even though they struggled with english they still helped as much as possible.

The beds were very low and uneven. We still have back pain from our stay. The towels are super dated and need replacing. There is not lift so when you carry heavy bags, you have to take it down and up a lot of stairs. There were sounds of hammering constantly throughout our stay. It's quite noisy noisy as locals come to hang out in the bar upstairs. When checking out early, no one was awake - we missed the included breakfast as no one was there to serve us (8:15 AM). The price of the property is pretty expensive - the only real benefit of the place is the view of the mountain. There is also a chuch nearby that rings the bell every 15 minutes without fail, throughout the day (and night).

The breakfast was very good and the views are really great. Great local hiking and friendly staff.I have been here 5 times and always want to return.Dinner was excellant.
