"Functional renovated no-frills hotel; the only one close to the centre of stupendous Autun."

For the price, very large and spotlessly clean renovated room and bathroom; well insulated from the very noisy street, less so from the corridor. Own parking around the corner. Good, if standard breakfast. In front of the station on the edge of the old town; Autun being smaller today than in Roman times, it's only 10-15 minutes walk to the cathedral.

On a main thoroughfare, meaning heavy traffic and diesel fumes from very early to late afternoon, so windows closed; though quiet at night. The only nice hotel in the magnificent old town, les Ursulines, closed last year, we were told; let's hope that another one will appear soon. Meantime, this is a fair choice.

"Goed hotel voor een kortverblijf in Autun"

Hotel is gelegen tov station en heeft nieuwe eigenaars (hotel du commerce / hotel de la gare). De kamer is eerder basic en mist enkele praktische handigheden zoals een kapstok of haakjes om kledij op te hangen, gordijn om venster te verduisteren, zeephouder in douche, lift, doorgang van hotel naar receptie / ontbijtruimte via trottoir. Er waren nog schilderwerken bezig in de hal maar de kamer was al vernieuwd. De foto’s op de website ogen beter dan in werkelijkheid. Mijn kamer was eerder kil door enkel zwart/wit accenten. Vriendelijk personeel en ok ontbijt. Kleine badkamer met goede regendouche. Prijs/kwaliteit is eerder aan de dure kant.

Met enkele eenvoudige kleine aanpassingen kan men de kamer veel praktischer en gezelliger maken. Het afruimen van de tafels in de ontbijtruimte liet op zich wachten en de zware houten dienborden zijn passé.

Accueil sympathique et merci d'avoir accepté notre chien . Nous avons été surclassé pour avoir accès à un jardin pour notre toutou. Proximité du restaurant . Excellent diner et petit déjeuner. Chambre confortable. Hôtel propre et calme. Bref tout était parfait

Bon rapport qualité prix pour une nuit d'étape. très bien rénové. Super buffet petit dej. Petits et Grands étaient ravis.

Peu de place de la chambre pour les affaires mais pour une nuit pas gênant
