Las Brisas Resort and Villas

Out of the six places we stayed in Costa Rica, this was probably our favorite, and what put this place over the top was the staff and the food. Everyone was incredibly kind, helpful, welcoming, willing to let us practice our Spanish, and good at their jobs. My husband had his favorite meal of the entire twelve-day trip here (red snapper), and I loved the mango breakfast juice. We had one early tour while we were here, and the staff made us breakfast boxes the night before, brought us a microwave so we could heat things up on our own before leaving, and caught us in the morning to give us fresh to-go cups of juice and coffee. We very much enjoyed the pool, where we saw scarlet macaws flying overhead from time to time, and we also appreciated that pool towels were provided for us to use. Plus the lounge chairs by the pool fold out flat and have little fold-out trays by the arms, which was useful. The location was nice, too-- it's on a quiet street, so you aren't woken up by anything, but it's also not too far from Jacó if you want to do the restaurants there (though you really should eat at the hotel at least once, it's so good) and only a couple minutes' drive from the beach if you want to sit or walk on the sand and watch the waves (swimming not recommended due to rip currents and massive waves). We had a thoroughly peaceful, comfortable, and relaxing stay and wish we'd booked it for longer.

Sehr freundliche Begrüßung durch SPENCER. Wie sich später herausstellte, ist er der Chef. Eine sehr schöne Anlage mit traumhaftem Pool und Bar. Das Zimmer war sehr groß mit kleiner Küche. Wir haben abends im Hotel gegessen und können es nur empfehlen.....es war köstlich. Superfreundliches Personal. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben.

La joven de la recepción es una belleza de persona, amable, servicial, atenta. El joven del bar, también muy servicial y atento. La atención es el mejor de los puntos. Una piscina y jacuzzi bonitos.

I would like to start by recognizing the manager, Diana. She was absolutely amazing, professional, attentive, and always present. What stood out most was that we rarely had to reach out to her; she would proactively check in and make sure everything was perfect for us. Paola, who prepared our breakfast each morning and cleaned our villa, was exceptional. She was incredibly attentive to our breakfast orders, always punctual, and made sure everything was exactly as requested. She kept our villa spotless and fully stocked without us ever needing to ask. Her service was truly outstanding—100/100. Juan Pablo, the maintenance team member, was also fantastic. He ensured the pool and surrounding area were always clean and ready for us to enjoy. He worked closely with Paola to set up breakfast for my family of eight, making sure everything—from coffee to juice and other breakfast items—was ready at the bar. He also assisted us with a Wi-Fi issue promptly and efficiently. Geraldine, the chef, was wonderful. She was very attentive and made sure to accommodate all of our food allergies. The menu offered a great variety of options, and every meal she prepared was delicious and perfectly executed. André, was an incredible bartender. He was friendly, welcoming, and always made amazing drinks. He truly elevated our evenings with great music, good energy, and a fun atmosphere. What made our stay truly special was how well the entire team worked together. They supported one another seamlessly and created a warm, welcoming environment for our family. The level of care, professionalism, and attention to detail we experienced was beyond words. If I am ever fortunate enough to return to Costa Rica, I would absolutely stay at Las Brisas Hotel and Villa again. This team made our trip unforgettable.
