Sky Lodge

We had booked 2 rooms (the suite and another room) and they were both very nice: spacious and nice furniture. The best of Sky Lodge is its view across the valleys because it sits on top of a mountain. The pool is also nice and clean with a great view into the valleys. Finally, breakfast was good and the staff is nice and helpful. You pay a little bit more but it's absolutely worth it, especially when you have your own car to get there.

The journey took about 40 mins taxi ride from Kandy , definitely right out & up in the hills! Warm reception from Nickila ( apologies for incorrect spelling!) on arrival, beautiful room overlooking the forest and mountains, with balcony. There is a lovely almost infinity pool from where the view is just breathtaking. There are five rooms only , with one very special room ( a possible Honeymoon suite) with a bath.. unusual for SL Wonderful service from the manager Sumith, lots of interesting stories! The food at Sky lodge was probably the best I’ve had in SL. The chef had been trained by Sumith who is an experienced widely travelled chef & was varied & quite delicious. Dhall curry best ever and the Black pork curry… awesome! Wonderful breakfast spread too with fresh pancakes, fluffy omelette and fruit… This is a place pretty much away from everything. We walked down hill to a little hamlet with a tiny shop where we bought snacks but expect to have all your meals at the lodge… that’s definitely part of the attraction!

I arrived late and the room had bugs and cockcroach in I noticed also spiderwebs But still wanted to extend and they first told me yes and one hour after which was already check out time, they sayed they were fully booked - so unpleasant I couldn't even enjoy the premise and the food is way too expencieve

We were blown away with this hotel. 5* service and food, at a reasonable price. Our room had far-reaching views over the valley that were beautiful, but, especially, when the mist nestled between the hills. Floating in the infinity pool is a memory we will treasure. All the staff were very friendly but, special thanks to the Manager, Sumith, who is a major asset at this hotel, thank you 😊 

The location was superb and whole property cleanliness was excellent.staff was friendly and the foods also good. In my opinion its a good choise to get relax.

Stunning views

The view is stunning and the sunset over the mountains was amazing Very quiet and relaxing place in the middle of nature Just be aware you are about 40min from Kandy and the final road to get there is not the easiest! We ate there twice and food was good honest curry price

Everything, the location was beautiful, the rooms were very clean and tidy, the scenery was really beautiful, staff were very kind and was available to support us 24/7, all the request made were done so quickly by the amazing staff. We would recommend this hotel to anyone, who love the vibe of mountain view and looking at stars and want a soothing experience. 10/10
