Sky Lodge

The place is located in a peaceful mountain view, around 650m altitude (no mosquitos to worry about) with absolutely STUNNING views from all directions! Staff were super polite and helpful! The pool has the most amazing views of not just the valley, but we were also lucky to witness eagles hunting birds right in front of us, mid air! The food was exceptional and very reasonably priced! Room amenities were all on point and clean! It also has 5 rooms only which is great if you're after a quiet peaceful stay.

If I were to be picky, the pool only had 4 sun beds and 1 umbrella, other than that, I can't fault anything.

The property is beautiful with the most amazing view

It is quite far from city around 16 km so difficult to go anywhere once u are here.

The view from the room was really nice. Staff was really helpful with helping prepare baby's food. The food was okay. There was a nice common area where you could sit and read something or do some work if you are working, suitable for working remotely if you need that sort of space to work for a bit. The surrounding was really quiet and calm. To get to the property we had to go through the Peradeniya University so it was quite an experience because it was my first.

The road that leads to the property needs improvement. Another two three rain seasons I believe it might get worse. It would be best if something could be done about it before that happens.

What a nice property with amazing host. It was always a true pleasure to discuss with them. They upgraded us free of charge as we were staying for a long time and they had availabilities. The pool is great with a stunning view and the good was excellent (take the chocolate brownie for a perfect end). Breakfast was also delicious !! It’s the perfect spot to take a good breath away from the busy town, ideal for a break. If you need to go in town ask them to arrange the tuktuk drive, it will be cheaper and with a really nice driver
