Panorama Hotel

We loved the location, it was so nice walking down to the beach in just a few minutes and going for a swim. The view from the room was amazing and the family owing the hotel were so lovely.

The room was lovely with a fabulous view of the sea. Spacious, nice bathroom, comfy bed. Lovely family run place....very hospitable. If you're ordering breakfast, make sure you're hungry 😋. Two spectacular sunsets as well !!

Not to say dislike, but you are at the bottom of a very long hill, which means you're close to the sea, but it's a 30 min hike back up to the theatre and catacombs which are the local places of interest. Also, there's only one restaurant seaside, which is good but restrictive. Lunch and dinner at the same place might not appeal to everybody!

The breakfasts were good but no choices were offered and they were repetitive. The location was stunning with the hotel balanced on the hillside overlooking the water and West facing for unforgettable sunsets.

The hotel offered complementary transport from the ferry when booked but when phoned to confirm the pick up time I was informed that this service was not available this year! Therefore had to book taxis with limited availability on Milos. A hire car was then suggested as an essential for stay at this location by the hotel owner, but as elderly travellers we were not confident driving on the hilly and narrow roads so had to rely on expensive taxis to move around the island. The location is beautiful but very hilly with many steps to locate the beach, breakfast terrace, therefore not suitable for anyone with impaired mobility. Our room was small with a very narrow balcony with no shelter from the sunshine from lunchtime until sunset. Only one nearby restaurant within walking distance which although excellent food the menu was dominated by fish dishes, with the same two meat options on the daily menu.

If there is a place where we would want to come back from all around the world, it would definitely be this charming Panorama Hotel! Chilling, familiar atmosphere, excellent location, breathtaking view and one of the cutest villages on the island just a few steps down from the hotel. The rooms were very nice and clean, with a balcony offering breathtaking sea views. The staff was incredibly helpful and the breakfast so tasty. It’s also very convenient to have the private parking just next to the hotel. Thank you again for this fantastic stay! See you again 🫶🏼
