Hotel Fancy

Good sized room, comfortable bed, clean fresh towels and bed linen, excellent WiFi and air con, TV, Good size bathroom with excellent shower and always hot water. Quiet area with parking outside. Gorna Banja is pleasant uncrowded suburb with park, excellent bistro restaurant and shops, and easy free parking everywhere.

A 'hotel' with no hotel entrance, no reception, no restaurant or bar, no room service, no vending machine, and no staff. In fact a fake 'hotel' The property is a large suburban house with side annex and six rooms, two on each of 3 floors. There was no doorbell, and I had to phone to gain entrance (did not notice e-mail sent before arrival) The room was basic and functional, with no homely comforts. No carpet or rug on the tiled floor, no bedside light, no clock, no pictures on the bare walls, and when I drew back the curtain it fell to the floor as no end stop on the curtain rail, and the wash basin tap was so loose that it had to be held down when turning on. The description on Booking is dishonest, there was no kitchen, no kettle, and no mini-bar. In several hundred bookings this is the first time that I was unable to buy or make tea, coffee, or any hot drink, and on my four day stay breakfast was shop bought items washed down with cold water. Nearest shop and bus stop are 8 minute downhill walk, uphill return. To reach city centre take 260 bus for a bone shaking ride over cobblestone streets to Krasno Selo M3 Metro station, or walk the 1.8km to the Metro terminal, downhill all the way with an exhausting uphill return. Although the price seemed good, an uninviting room, with no facilities, far from the city centre, was poor value.

Good place very calm

Great apartments for transit tourists. The owner waited and met us late in the evening, provided dishes at our request. A quiet, cozy place, with beautiful dogs and cats in the yard, there is parking near the apartments. My recommendations!
