The location was good — in Banani, near Gulshan, so with several restaurant and coffee shop options nearby. The staff were generally polite, especially the guards, etc.

The hotel describes itself on Booking as non-smoking, with designated smoking areas. When I came to the hotel, I realized that there is cigarette smoke *everywhere* — they claimed that I did not ask to be put in a non-smoking room, although that is how they described the hotel themselves. I also heard them explicitly tell another guest that this is a non-smoking hotel. Also, very upsetting that they don't see it as their responsibility to ask during check-in, if they are going to be letting everyone smoke. (The windows do not open, by the way). Terrible experience and every morning I woke up with a headache. All my clothes smell like cigarettes.

Friendly staffs, cleanliness, maintain hygiene and safety. Breakfast was excellent.
