"Ich hatte wunderschöne Tage im Niyagama House und habe den Aufenthalt im Grünen sehr genossen."

Das Niyagama House liegt sehr ruhig im Grünen und ist ein wunderbarer Ort, um Ruhe zu finden. Das Haus hat einen wunderschön angelegten Garten und einen großen Pool. Klasse ist das Yogaangebot von Elke, von Hatha, Yin und Aerial Yoga. Die Stunden haben mir sehr gut gefallen. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, man sitzt wunderschön und entspannt draußen auf der überdachten Terasse. Mir haben die lokalen Frühstücksoptionen sehr gut gefallen. Auf Wunsch sind ebenfalls Lunch und Abendessen vor Ort möglich. Insgesamt ist die gesamt Atmosphäre sehr entspannt und man hat das Gefühl in einer absoluten Oase der Ruhe zu sein. Der Blick in die Natur ist traumhaft. Mit dem Tuk Tuk habe ich knapp 30 Minuten nach Galle benötigt.

Es ist etwas hellhörig (lebendige Zimmernachbarn sind gut zu hören)

Endroit calme et très bien entretenu, parfait pour se ressourcer. Magnifique piscine au milieu d'un jardin luxuriant. Excellant petit déjeuner très copieux avec des produits frais. L'accueil par la propriétaire est très chaleureux et les cours de yoga parfait. Moment de pure détente.

Literally everything: the location in the middle of nature, the people, the food, the people …. And the yoga classes that I practiced for the first time in my life. Top of class classes. Elke and the staff at Niyagama are absolutely amazing

"What a gem!"

Wow. What an amazing stay at Niyagama House. From the airport pick up, to the tuk tuk onwards to my next location, I had the most wonderful and dreamy time. The best way to start my Sri Lankan stay (2 days). The food was exceptional, and I highly recommend trying the local food. Elke and her team were very friendly, attentive and I felt like a queen during my stay. I was surprised by how quiet it was (I was the only guest during low season) as this place is truly a gem. Highly recommend having a massage as well. You will not regret it.

Honestly there was nothing that I didn’t like or enjoy.

"Perfect yoga retreat balanced with some of the best Sri Lankan food we've eaten."

My husband and I spent 3 nights at Niyagama House. We really enjoyed the Bliss Yoga package with Elka as well as the morning meditation. Elka is an excellent yoga teacher moulding her classes to suit the participants. After 4 days of yoga, swimming, wonderful food and accommodation we felt fantastic! The whole experience is highly recommended.

"Gorgeous"

Outstanding, attentive, personal service in a really beautiful house and gardens. Very quiet, super food, great pool, fun yoga classes. The free meditation and tea in your room are a lovely touch.

Not a complaint but would love to see a greater range of local tea available, and maybe some cake to go with it!
