Iwaki is a city of many gems, and this hotel was no exception, being close to the public transport of the city, a day out in the area is easy. The hotel it self has helpful staff that put a smile on things. By far my favorite thing at the hotel were the amenities such as the bathing area. Not only is the bath comfortable, the location also has free laundry machines that you can use while bathing. A big recommendation for those that want to do both. The city of Iwaki have plenty of restaurants that showcase it's strong ties to it's fishing culture. A recommendation for those that enjoy seafood.

The room was clean, but a lot more can be done to make nights restful. 1. The blinds bleed in to much light. Though the design of the blinds are there to prevent people from the outside to look in, when the day breaks, the sunlight will fully illuminate the room. Sleep mask is recommended. 2. The bed was a big problem. For one the bed is very firm. It might be uncomfortable to those that need cushioning. The buttons are too close to the bed that causes accidental mistakes while sleeping such as turning on lights. The biggest problem was the reading light that kept being pressed while sleeping as it can be attached to the wall. Not ideal. 3. The TV is too far away from the bed. 4. The walls are paper thin. For some people that try to sleep in, the walls are paper thin, which can cause for discomfort early in the morning. Because of this, if you have your TV on, you could disturb everyone within the radius of your room. Earplugs are advised.
