Hotel Gaon Golden Park Dongdaemun

Staff: The owner was really accommodating and was fluent in English which made it easier for me (as someone who understands little Korean). He was present daily and open when you need him. Location: The hotel was walking distance from 2 subway stations which made it easier to move around the city. It is also near the Dongdaemun Night Market which made it easier to shop. Some fastfood and restaurants around the hotel were also operational 24/7.

Not the hotel's fault but some of the alleys leading to the hotel were a little dark. So if youre like me that got delayed in arrival in Korea you might want to take a longer route to the hotel so that itll be well lit -Allthough Korea is really safe. (Again not the hotel's fault)

The room was of decent size for two people, and the bathroom was nice and clean. The wifi worked well considering it was free which was very helpful. Staying during summer meant it was really hot so being able to use the air-con at any time was really good.

There was nothing that I necessarily found to be unpleasant during my stay here. The taxi driver found it a little hard to locate at first but it was late at night so maybe finding it during the day may have been easier.

The receptionist / hotel manager speaks chinese, English and korean. He is incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Helped me out big time. Thank you
