The Saints Sutor Hotel

Great location in Breda. Comfy bed, would highly recommend.

Mooie locatie in het centrum van Breda. De communicatie met het hotel was snel en duidelijk. Er is geen receptie je loopt gelijk de trap op naar boven naar de kamers. Digitale sleutelysteem werkte prima. Goede bedden, fijne douche. Wij zaten aan de achterzijde, daar hoor je verder niks van het uitgaansleven. Fijn dat er een airco op de kamer zit. Koffie en thee kun je maken en er is een koelkastje. Fijn dat we bedden uit elkaar konden schuiven.

Het is een oud pand dus als je gevoelig bent voor stommelende geluiden van (boven)buren en van de gang dan is dit niet het hotel voor jou. Wij hadden gevraagd om een rustige kamer en daar was zeker rekening mee gehouden.

Lekker koffie op de kamer en verder een prima hotelkamer

De gordijnen bestonden uit 3 delen, maar bedekten niet goed genoeg de ramen. Het duurde heel lang voordat het water uit de douche warm werd. Vervolgens werd de douche soms heel heet uit het niets. Was niet prettig. Het inchecken verliep niet soepel, want de code deed het niet. Uitleg over uitchecken was er niet en er was ook geen personeel te bekennen

The location was perfect, the decor was quite nice, there was a good amount of hanging space for clothes, and the shower was lovely and hot

Unfortunately I did not know prior to booking that this was not a traditional hotel, there is no reception or staff at the hotel, your keycard has to be on your phone digitally which I found very inconvenient. There is no warning about the stairs, they are so steep and narrow that I could barely carry my luggage up them. I booked a double bed but was given two singles, again because there was no staff there was no one to discuss this with, and the beds sagged in the middle. Also my curtains didn’t actually cover the width of my window which made privacy challenging given my room backed on to house balconies. There is also no soundproofing at all, I was kept awake all night by guests in the next room and again there is no hotel reception to deal with excessive drunken shouting in the corridors after midnight. Overall while the location is perfect, it was not the standard that the price would suggest.

Breakfast should have started earlier as we had to leave without it.

Stairs were very steep with luggage. No early breakfast. Had to find parking a kilometer away.

Prima locatie, rustige kamer.

Helemaal geen personeel. Link voor inchecken niet ontvangen. Heen en weer bellen. Na half uur lukte het om hotel binnen te gaan.
