The best thing about this hotel are the breath-taking views. It is worth staying here just to experience them. Make sure you get a room/apartment with a terrace so you can sit out in the morning and evening, it is really incredible.

We wanted to stay here to learn about the wine, olive oil, vinegar and cheese that they make here, and emailed a week before we arrived asking if we needed to book the tour in advance. They told us that they couldn't provide a tour on either day we were there, which was very disappointing. When we got there we found out it was because they had a bus load of tourists come in and couldn't fit anyone else on. Prioritising day trippers over your own guests is outrageous. The lovely staff did do a tasting for us in the restaurant, but not allowing your own guests on your own tours is beyond belief. They charged a cover charge at dinner for a baby. There were holes in the walls of our apartment, and it was quite dated, in need of refurbishment. The whole place is screaming out for investment and a breath of fresh air and innovation, but then it would cost more to stay there. Breakfast was okay, plenty of choice but not much that was "homemade". Would stay here again just for those amazing views, but it's not a luxury experience.
