All good. The money matched the quality.

You arrive tired, thinking you’ve found a place to land. Easy check-in, friendly enough, and for a moment it feels like it might work. Then the night starts pushing back. The bed doesn’t let you settle, the pillow fights your neck, and rest becomes something you have to work for. The bathroom doesn’t help—small signs it wasn’t properly cleaned, and a drain that can’t keep up with the water. Wi-Fi turns into a chase—different networks, different passwords, none of them really holding. You end up downstairs in a small lobby with two chairs, like everyone else who gave up. The place has these odd pauses—doors locked when no one’s around, moments where you’re just waiting. And the stairs… low ceiling, no warning. You either duck or learn the hard way. It’s central, surrounded by bars and restaurants. But inside, it doesn’t quite come together. It works, technically. Just not in the way you want after a long day.
