Bajawa-Roo Hotel

Very nice and friendly owner. We had the room on the third floor with a beautiful view over Bajawa and the volcano. Nothing great but comfortable. Probably the best hotel in town.

Breakfast could be a bit more varied...

Very spacious and comfortable room in a nice location. Sri and her team are fabulous hosts and will take great care of you. The view of Wolo Bobo from the third floor breakfast area is incredible

This was my second stay in a short period of time. I stayed here on my way east on a motorbike ride and stayed again on the way back. As I realized I would need to stop in Bajawa for the night, there was absolutely no debate to be had about where I would stay. Really enjoyed Sri and her team. Great people.

The view from the rooms is very nice, the sunrise from the top is pretty nice! The location is very good too. Everything is close by

Unfortunately the staff does not speak English at all. Only the female manager does. But she is first not always there, and secondly we experienced her not very friendly. Additionally the coffee / tea at breakfast is done from tap water. It smelled badly and we saw they’re using the tap - so we asked, but in their very bad English they were trying to tell that it is rain water from a tank? Really? No matter if rain or tap water, this water smelled like chemicals and we did not want to drink it. Special breakfast requests could not really be discussed with the staff, as even with google translator, they did not understand. So for a hotel this expensive, the standard is too low and not worth it, from our point of view. Can not recommend it.

Wir kamen nach einer Autopanne erst spät nachts im Hotel an, wurden aber dennoch sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit empfangen. Glücklich, es heil und ganz nach Bajawa geschafft zu haben, liebten wir das Hotel auf Anhieb. Für uns ist das Bajawa-Roo wie die Stadt, in der es steht, und wie Flores selbst: Authentisch, familiär, von freundlichen Menschen bevölkert, liebevoll mit dem Vorhandenen gestaltet, fernab vom durchgestylten Allerweltslook der Hotelketten einfach schön. Das Bett war bequem. Der Blick vom Balkon im zweiten Stock auf die Stadt, die Berge und den Vulkan in der Ferne ist spektakulär. In der Umgebung des Hotels ist man sofort mitten drin im Leben der kleinen, freundlichen Stadt, während dahinter gleich der Bambuswald beginnt.

Poor access, Very noisy, hard bed, inadequate room amenities, overpriced

We stayed one night and it was good! The room was basic but clean. The staff was very friendly, although there was a language barrier with most of them. The breakfast is served on the rooftop and you have a great view over Bajawa. The owner was super friendly and served us fresh avocado and passion fruit from her garden. We can definitely recommend this hotel if you want to stay in Bajawa. Also because it’s not far from the viewpoints to see Inerie.

De locatie. Vanuit het dakterras van het hotel kon je heel Bajawa overzien. Verder waren de kamers heel comfortabel. 's Ochtends een heerlijk ontbijt mede geserveerd door de enthousiaste hoteleigenaresse.

Хороший отель, приятная атмосфера. В номере есть все, что нужно для отдыха. В пешей доступности рынок и магазин. Виды из отеля отличные! Хозяйка отеля внимательная, отзывчивая, помогает со всеми вопросами, очень приятная в общении! Нам все понравилось!!!
