,Terrible Service and Experience – A Huge Disappointment We came to this hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and unfortunately, the experience was far from festive or pleasant. The one and only saving grace of this hotel is its excellent location, but everything else is simply not worth your money. Unwelcoming Staff, Ignored Requests, and Poor Service Before our arrival, we contacted the hotel and explicitly requested a room on a high floor and away from the elevator, as we had read previous reviews from guests regarding poor acoustics and noise insulation. We also mentioned that we were celebrating a special occasion. In reality, the hotel completely ignored all of our requests: We were given a room on the second floor, right next to the elevator (exactly what we asked to avoid). The hotel did not provide any gesture, treat, or even a minimal acknowledgment in the room for our anniversary. The room itself was very basic, with noticeable wear and tear on the furniture. To make matters worse, a significant part of the reception staff turned out to be completely useless and unwelcoming. When we went back to the front desk to complain about the room, we were met with indifference and a curt response that "this is the only room available." Only after we realized who we were dealing with and demanded a full refund, did the staff suddenly, as if by magic, agree to show us two other vacant rooms on a higher floor. This is amateurish, cold, and shameful behavior, proving that you only get service here under threat. Air Conditioning Nightmare and a Sleepless Night Unfortunately, moving to the room on the higher floor did not solve our problems. Because of a light drizzle outside, the hotel decided on its own to lock the central air conditioning system to heating only—even though the outside temperature was a pleasant 20°C!
