Cute older lodge, well kept

Small room, but we were just there to sleep

The room provided everything we needed and was very quaint . We loved the comfy beds and the tv channels that were available !! The location was also very ideal being so close to Denali !!

The door was very warped and allowed mosquitoes to continuously fly in that we had to put towels in the cracks

Location

The location was perfect.

The property is rural and very appropriate. Love the motel style and all rooms are on the first floor. It’s easy going and nicely decorated with flowers. The rooms need help. There is a lot of loose plaster/paint/cracks. The carpets need to be replaced. I found the beds comfortable and clean. Bathroom area was good, but again, a simple refresh would go a long way. It is close to eating, coffee, and groceries & gas. It’s a nice, easy ride to Denali National Park.

Very clean, nice owner, suuper close to 49th State Brewery (could walk if needed). Rooms are small, simple, humble, and clean. Several spots on ceiling/walls and bathroom mouldings need repair but the place suited our needs so perfectly that I didn’t care. Repair needs didn’t detract from a good nights sleep with great pillows (and medium firm but not too firm mattresses). This will stay on my list of relatively affordable hotels in the Healy/Denali Natl Park vicinity. Not a posh place but totally good enough.
