Haveli Bundi Inn - Heritage Boutique Stay

The view from the rooftop are stunning on the palace and generally the room we stayed in (101, a basic double room) was spacious and had everything we needed included a kettle, hot shower and a little sofa. The staff was very nice and helpful, we asked to get some Indian breakfast (poha) for the second morning and they were happy to adapt. We managed to leave our bags at the property after our checkout while we walked around waiting for our train. Location is also good and close to the palace and the market. WiFi was good.

Unfortunately, even if for once there was not too much noise from the street, the toilet has an open window into another toilet, so you can hear everything. Also, the room doesn’t have real windows so there’s no natural light. In the morning we could hear some weird mechanical sound that woke us up early every day. We were the only guests (we asked) so we don’t understand why we were given what we assume was the worst room (other reviews have talked about this room too.

We had a wonderful stay at the Haveli Bundi Inn. The rooms are clean and comfortable but best of all is the rooftop above for views of the Taragarh Fort which is spectacularly lit at night time. The food is good quality and we had breakfast, lunches and dinners on the rooftop where you can also just enjoy a beer and take in the view. Mr Kamal Singh Jayashree are top hosts.

Perfect setting in a very old building, beautifully restored. Rooftop restaurant, with a view across to the palace, very atmospheric. Very kind staff, and the owner is so knowledgeable about Bundi. I hope to return.

A lovely Homestay in the traditional Haveli style. Very central with amazing views of the palace. The owners were very friendly, nothing was impossible. My Vegan diet was very well catered for with the delicious breakfasts. It was a real treat staying at the Bundi Inn.

Felt like a very authentic haveli inn. Great location with wonderful views of the fort - stunning at nighttime. The staff were wonderful and the food excellent. Lovely room and overall nice feel to the place. Fully recommend.

There were quite a few steps to climb to get to the property. Room size on the small side and bathroom possibly needed updating but these are minor points.

Bed comfy. Good location. Clean. Roof top restaurant with good view.

The very nice and welcoming owner left on a trip soon after we arrived. She left “the boys” in charge who were all very helpful and eager to make our stay a pleasant one. The hotel itself is nicely appointed with a comfortable, not too hard bed. The location is perfect. Easy walk to the castle in one direction, and the old city markets in the other. Stunning view of the castle at night from the rooftop restaurant.

The food could be improved.

Lovely heritage property with amazing views of the palace and fort. Lovely staff, great food and very kind and helpful owner.

Fine for us but worth mentioning there are some narrow stairs for anyone who struggles with that, but the staff are happy to help with luggage
