"A very happy stay and look forward to returning"

We loved the spacious room,the beautiful gardens and the serenity The staff were exceptional - so friendly and helpful

The only negative was our bed. It creaked loudly if you moved in bed. The location isn’t in a tourist area, more of a local area. There’s plenty of eateries in walking distance and it’s a very cheap and quick taxi ride to the tourist strip so it didn’t bother us. We preferred it due to the serenity

"If only location improves."

It is a quaint, lovely boutique hotel. Too bad the location is too far from everything. It is very quiet which I like, and the garden is beautiful. The staff very friendly and eager to help, but not everyone speaks English, nor are they there 24/7.

Location too far from everything. TV not up-to-date. Channels extremely limited. Staff absence and food service availability only at certain time of day.

Pondok Ayu and it's staff are the reason why this is our 11th trip to Bali. Exceeded all our expectations. The wonderful; wonderful staff that are super friendly; well trained was an experience not to forget. Everything well maintained, food served at the restaurant part delicious and cheap. Breakfasts more than sufficient. Our well equipped kitchen was never used. Property location good. 15 minutes walk to beach. Gardens extremely well maintained. 10/10 on all. Could suggest to owners larger TV in bedrooms. Also - few smaller tables in "restaurant" area rather than one large table? Overall- fantastic experience- certainly deserves more than 3 stars. Would most certainly visit again in future. Thanks again to wonderful friendly staff.

"Lovely place in Sanur"

This place was so lovely! It is located in a quiet street, just 15mins away from plenty of shops and restaurants. It was beautiful overall. The rooms are very spacious, the bed was comfy & the bathroom was nice. The room was also very clean. The people running the place were very helpful & kind. The pool was nice too. Definitely a great place to stay in Sanur!

"Superb"

Everything. Great hosts, room had everything and really clean. Breakfast very good. Fantastic swimming pool and small courtyard garden. Host happy to order taxis which were extremely cheap.

Location needed taxi to go anywhere as busy road needed to be crossed. No real restaurant on site. A meal could be ordered from a limited menu which was always good but finished at 7.30pm.

The banana pancakes are excellent and staff were as Lexus do friendly and accommodating
