"Unusual comfortable 'hotel' in a wonderful location"

Wonderful location. Comfortable rooms. Plenty of parking space.No reception and no restaurant so very little interaction with staff. But everything went like clockwork in true military fashion. Highly recommendable.

The room was uncomfortably small, particularly the shower room, but the whole place had a warm atmosphere and the staff were excellent. Car parking great and the view from the room marvellous.

"The Riverside house is the base of the Royal Airforce Yachtclub and offers over night stays"

The Yacht club is a 2 min walk to the centre of Hambel, with all the restaurants and shops. The rooms are modern and very clean. The next day, I had to go to Mercury Marina to pick up my boat, which was a 15 min walk. The bar was very lively and it has also a large terasse with view on all the boats. The bar in Riverside House is very friendly and does some quite nice cocktails! :)

It can take a while to order a taxi to go back to Southampton
