Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice sea-facing villas.

Location. Far from any restaurants or sight seeing. Food variety was limited Beach was hard to swim in because of seaweed and there was lots of household garbage all along the beach. No A.C., had to request fan. fridge was not working.

Indigo beach resort is located in a quiet area of the island. Great location for those seeking a quiet and chilled stay

Accessing the property involves navigating very poorly maintained dirt roads

Ten steps to the beach. Relaxing. Away from turistic areas. Nice pool. Fine bungalow.

You can only swim at high tide +/- two hours. Nothing to do in the area but to relax. Very poor people living around the hotel, but I guess thats all over the island. Everything extra is too expensive.

The staff is amazing; warm, welcoming. The hotel is pretty and the perfect location to just relax and recharge. The food was also delicious at the hotel, amazing chef. It was the perfect place to eat clean. Super clean hotel as well!

This property is a paradise for any beach lovers. We had one of our best times here .. It was so clean, so well maintained and extremely lovely staff. If you look for a staycation and have a relaxed stay with an amazing view, think no further, Indigo is the only choice.. This would be on my recommendation for any couples or family who wanna have a quality time together.. This is a place we will go back again ..

From the very check in to the check out, Indigo was absolutely excellent. Omar but also rest of the crowd were great. Very nice, polite and kind staff. Very caring about the guests, always ready to help. Food both for breakfast and a la carte dinner was great quality and reasonably priced. Location is directly on the beach so you can walk from the place all the way to Paje. Village ''access road'' isn't the most appealing but we walked it multiple time towards the main road from where we catched both taxi and dala dala bus to experience this as well. Bungalow was super clean, we liked the outside shower and bathroom, view from the bungalow, big lounge/chilling area! Whole complex is very private, maybe 30 guests in total max so we felt very safe and exclusive. We had feeling we almost knew all each other. Value for money is really great and if ever on Zanzibar again, Indigo would be choice number 1 for sure. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

Only thing that I would improve would be some kind of the curtains on the ground floor of bungalow so you could have little bit more of privacy, but we didn't care so much.

Fantastic place for a relaxed stay at the Eastern coast of Zanzibar. The beachfront bungalow was perfect for us. The outdoor bathroom including toilet and shower was special! The place has some of the nicest staff I have ever had at any hotel around the world. So much caring, taking responsibility and personal commitment to making our stay better was amazing. Given that on the East coast the tides are significant, the pool was highly appreciated. The place is secure and located at the quieter part of the Eastern coast - we were walking along the beach even at night and never felt threatened or unsafe. There are beachfront restaurants and places for a cold beer up and down the beach. The food at this hotel was really really good - local dishes and daily changing menu was offered. Cocktails, wines and other drinks were served wherever you wanted to have them, bungalow, beach, pool or lounge... And really - the staff was amazing! THANK YOU ALL INDIGO BEACH TEAM!! You made our 3-week vacation special!

Nothing, really! Maybe that we finally had to leave this place, but this is hardly to blame on the hotel :-)

Everything was magical from check-in until check-out. The staff were absolutely amazing. They really went out of their way to make our stay extra special.
