The Coorow Hotel

It is close to the work I need to do and dinner is available onsite

The rooms are always cold, however sufficient blankets were supplied

Breakfast was included in the price. I am Gluten Free and although the had a basket that was labelled GF, the items were past their use by date and there was nothing for a GF person to eat for breakfast.

Bed was comfortable and bathrooms very clean. Meal at the bar was very satisfying. Hotel manager was easy to talk to and made the stay welcoming.

For a building that is almost 100 years old, it is what it is. It was very cold during the stay and extra blankets were supplied. No ensuite bathrooms and you have to time the bathroom sharing with other workers.

Breakfast is self-serve help yourself toast and cereals and was perfect to achieve an early start to the day.

Fine and was as advised

Although it was summer it was chilly at night and there didn't appear to be any way to turn the aircon off and with it on all night we were cold and there was no spare blankets in the room. My husband managed to sleep but I was cold most of the night and slept fitfully. Other guests we met at breakfast also mentioned they were cold during the night.

Evening meal was good quality pub fare, And good value. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms tastefully decorated.

Breakfast was basic, a bit limited, could be improved by providing some fruit and a range of breads. Shared bathrooms were adequate, but could be cleaner.

The meals in the evening were wonderful. Well prepared and very generous. The staff appear to like being there. They were accommodating and interested in you. The upstairs lounge was comfortable. My bed was comfortable.

The guest kitchen was not good at all. No sink. Water was from a container. Breakfast very unimaginative/unhealthy. The bathroom was commodious and good water supply. Tired and a bit shabby. Did not affect my experience.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Coorow Hotel. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The Hotel was clean and had a lovely old country town feel to it. My partner and I felt safe and comfortable. It's also worth mentioning that the drive to Coorow is incredibly scenic and passes through beautiful pastures of country fields. Overall, great value for money and would highly recommend.

Unrelated to our stay, but our phones did not get reception (we are both with telcos that use the Optus Network). However, the Hotel gives free wifi which is reasonably sound.
