Lindos Mare, Seaside Hotel

We had a room with access to a shared pool. Room is so good 10/10 and the pool is perfect, wouldn’t choose anything other than this

The hotel had its charm. Being on the beach but having an incredible view at the same time was quite special. The whole journey of getting to the beach was unusual in the beginning but we got used to it and our children loved it, running from elevator to elevator. The common areas are quite nice to hang out at. Hotel food was okay, staff was excellent- super polite and very professional. Everything was spotlessly clean. Very family friendly hotel, good if you want to avoid those huge family complex hotels.

Be aware that the property is dated. Its not what you expect from a fancy five star hotel. Due to the situation on the mountain every room is different. We had booked a suite and in the beginning they gave us a horrendous room for the first night. It felt more like a cave, tiny, no windows, small bathroom, furniture completely worn and destroyed. We complained and they said that our room category was only available next day. Dont know wether it’s a scheme. We got a lovely room in the end and they invited us for one dinner. Probably they got off cheaper than paying the night but we didn’t want to ruin our holiday and mentally closed the issue. If you are a design lover it’s also not really the place to be. The towel policy was also strange. There was only one place to get beach towels, in the center of the hotel. If you forgot your towels on the beach you had to go all the way up again together them. Why not have a towel service on the beach? Besides that the quality of the towels and site were not what you d expect from a five star hotel.

Das Hotel ist wirklich wunderschön. Es ist in die Felsen gebaut und sehr verwinkelt. Egal wo man steht - man hat eine traumhafte Aussicht auf die Felsen oder das Meer! Das Frühstücksbuffet ist unglaublich reichhaltig und vielfältig + eine wunderschöne und große Frühstück Terrasse mit Blick aufs Meer 😍 Es gibt die Möglichkeit auf Halbpension, allerdings gibt es auch 2 à la carte Restaurants direkt auf der Anlage die sehr leckeres Essen haben. Wir haben ein kostenloses Upgrade für die Junior Suite bekommen - sehr schönes und sehr sauberes Zimmer!! Generell ist die ganze Anlage sehr sauber. Das gesamte Personal - Restaurants, Küche, Housekeeping, Rezeption ist so so nett und zuvorkommend! Wir haben es als echte Herzenswärme empfunden. Ich bin krank geworden während des Urlaubs und eine Dame von der Rezeption hat meinen Freund zur Apotheke gefahren damit er für mich Medikamente holen kann. Sie haben jeden Tag angerufen und gefragt wie es mir geht und mir mehrmals Schonkost aufs Zimmer gebracht ohne, dass wir diese bezahlen mussten. Falls ihr ein bisschen was außerhalb des Hotels sehen wollt braucht ihr in jedem Fall einen Mietwagen. Alles in allem haben wir uns sehr willkommen und aufgehoben gefühlt. Vielen Dank ☺️🙏🏼
