Aurina Lodges

The room was nicely decorated and nicely furnished. The location in Luttach is a great spot if you plan to go skiing or hiking (we were there to go hiking). The kitchen is fairly well equipped if you prefer to cook your own meals (which we did most of the time).

We were extermely disappointed with the 1BR "lodge". We had booked the room under the impression that all of the rooms in the hotel have unobstructed views of the mountains from both the room and the private outdoor space. However, the views from the 1BR units are heavily obstructed. The view from the unit is of the side of an adjacent building, and the outdoor space is basically part of the driveway/parking area for that building, separate only by a line of dreary looking pine trees in planter boxes (see the attached photos). Given that we were charged more the $300 USD per night for the unit, we expected something far better. In fact, we were so disappointed with the private outdoor space that we made no use of it at all. Regarding the interior: Be advised that some amenities that are listed as being "included in the room" are not, in fact, either "included" or located within the room, e.g., the "Washing Machine" and "Tumble Dryer" are located in the parking garage, and you have to pay to use them using exact change only. Also, the "Barbecue" is located in a shared outdoor area far from any room and is heavily rusted. Also, upon check-in we found the fitted sheet on our bed to be heavily worn and contained numerous human hairs. Finally, trying to find anyone to help us with any of our questions / requests was nearly impossible. There never seems to be anyone working at the reception desk, and the phone line they tell you to use to contact someone is not answered and there is no way to leave a message. We made at least 20+ visits to the front desk (necessary since no one was ever there), and only once did we find anyone there. Of the 30-40 calls via the provided phone line, only 2 were answered. After our first day, we gave up trying to get help with anything.

Most relxing place on earth. Great SPA with most scenic whirlpools and comfortable chill out spaces. Awesome hiking trails around are obvious but worth mentiong 😉

Nothing of note

it was a big surprise for us indeed! it was such a nice hotel, friendly staff, such a nice room, was a pity we couldn’t stay there longer. for sure we will come again!

We loved everything, fabulous stay, and we will definitely be back.

TVs didn’t work, only in German in the bedroom and didn’t work at all in soggiorno. Too much ice to go down into garage and to walk to front door. It definitely needs to be salted more often for safety.
