Le Huynh Mui Ne Hotel

We stayed in Mui Ne to break up our journey north and to visit the White Sand dunes. Cuong at reception was fantastic. Offered us lots of recommendations and was also very responsive. He also organised a private jeep to bring us to and from white dunes on our final day. Can use neighbouring resort pool facilities which was lovely. Fantastic coffee shop right next door. Fresh towels provided each day.

Room was small but had everything we needed for a short stay.

This is the worst place I’ve stayed in Vietnam particularly for the price paid about £15 per night. The only light switches are by the door, no bedside lamp just bright ceiling lights. The air con does not work that is because they turn the power off so switch it on but don’t tell you so you have to ask The windows are on a walkway so you have to have the blinds shut permanently. Although the bed linen and towels are clean the place is grotty and there are huge ants the in the bathroom. The photos of the place must be years old. There is nothing redeeming about this place, not even the sister hotel across the road. All the sun loungers are broken and dirty without cushions and in the shade. You can’t move them into the sun there are signs up and security men enforcing it.

The possibility to access the pool and the private beach of the hotel across the street was a big advantage. The receptionist was very accomodating and caring. The hotel has its own good fluffy boy named Gao who always stays at the room of the receptionist and waits to be petted.

The windows in our room faced the street and were badly isolated which was a bit loud in the night when bikes/cars drove by.

Great hotel,clean,hot water ,rooms cleaned every day, central,many resturants and bars near by,the young man how works on reception is very helpfull and speaks very good English,rented scooter from hotel,you can use pool and sun beds at hotel accross the street,i would recommend and stay there again

The staff were helpful, cheerful and friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The location was also good, with lots of restaurants and bars in the area. The pool was great and the private beach too. I would recommend staying here if you are in Mui Ne. Good value for money.

The only minus was a bit of poor soundproofing, a lot of noise.

The room is clean and the general upkeep of the room and hotel is good. The stairway is wide and well maintained by the cleaners including the corridor. Housekeeping is good too. Most of all, the young boyish gentleman manning the reception is welcoming, courteous, attentive and responsive. He smiles all the time. He is truly a great asset to the hotel, being the "face" of the hotel to all guests. He gains at least 3 extra points from us for the hotel out of 10 to add to the review points for the hotel. As for location, it's hard to say which stretch of Ham Tien beach is the best spot but we would give 8.5 out of 10 for the hotel location. Moreover, the swim pool and deck chairs at the beach of its sister hotel right opposite adds to its advantage
