"Pleasant stay"

*Staff were friendly, engaging and spoke excellent English. They were very accommodating in opening the bar for us to have a bottle of wine when we returned from dinner one evening. *The room was simple but clean (fridge and kettle provided). Air con was effective. *Decent location (Bolt is very cheap in Sheki so it's easier to get around) *WiFi was reliable *Overall, great value at less than £50 a night

*Breakfast was very basic (which, in fairness, seemed the case in most hotels we stayed in during our 10 day trip around Azerbaijan) *The bed was very hard (although I appreciate that's a personal preference) *Bathroom was on the small side

Good location and spacious room.

- The staff barely speak English which makes it hard to communicate with them. The receiptionists were not very helpful when we asked for some information about food recommendation/taxi service. - There aren't many options for breakfast. It was really disappointing.
