Aristi Mountain Resort

Magical location, amazing breakfast, beautiful spa, and really nice staff with excellent service. Perfect location to explore West Zagori or spend the whole day at the resort. The perfect place to disconnect from everyday life.

Nothing, Everything was absolutely perfect.

This place is an easy choice. Great rooms, views and location. I made a mistake on our reservation and showed up a day early... during Greek Orthodox Easter. Christos at the front desk sorted it out without any fuss. That kind of service continued throughout the stay. The staff are helpful and pleasant without being over the top. The room was very clean with comfortable beds and a fireplace we didn't end up using. Views across to the Papingo villages and Vikos are excellent — probably the highlight of the property. Breakfast had plenty of options and was a good start to the day. The location is ideal for getting around the Zagori region. Easy access to trails, villages, and viewpoints. Would definitely stay here again. Worth noting: the En Aristi restaurant down the path in the village is worth a meal or two. Good food, relaxed atmosphere.

The heating control is a little odd. Any adjustments have to go through the front desk and it's more of a range. It was cold in the mornings but too warm to sleep with the heat running overnight, so we ended up with the windows open and in the end we just asked them to turn it off completely which they did with no issue. If you run cold this probably won't bother you, but I would have appreciated more control — ideally keeping the bathroom heated and the rest of the room off.
