"The worst hotel experience of my life"

Upon my arrival they notified me they refused to accept credit cards (despite no advisory of this on their website). They rarely spoke to me, preferring to use my friend, saying the owner would come downstairs and they would message me to resolve their only accepting cash; neither of which happened, despite my lengthy and patient waiting. They cancelled my reservation without first assuring I had somewhere else to go - fortunately the hotel around the corner was open, of better quality, and much more welcoming and truthful staff.
