Wayfinder Bishop

This is my preferred hotel in Bishop. I am a wheelchair user and the rooms are spacious and easy to navigate. The roll in shower has a portable shower bench, there is easy access to the parking lot through a sliding window/door, which makes it a lot easier to load and unload my car. This trip the included breakfast was a little sparse, as they ran out of a few items, but usually it's really well stocked and a lot of variety.

This is wonderful resort style hotel. Been staying here for years. Room are world class. The new breakfast layout is an improvement. But the new owners attention to detail seem limited. I was put in a accessible / ADA room. I don't usually mind these, things are just configured differently. After entering a wonderful luxury room, and then go into the bathroom to find a huge shower bench half under the sink. It protruded such that it actually blocked access to the sink. This is hospital type equipment and it was taller than the sink by about four inches. So you go from luxury to a hospital bathroom. For a place that like to tout all the grand attributes, this is unacceptable. In anticipation of the "we have to do this response": "Portable options: If the hotel doesn’t have a built-in seat, they may comply by providing a sturdy, ADA-approved portable seat on request..." as per ADA compliance. Note "one request." But I guess it just easier to just leave it in the room. I mentioned this at checkout and got a "tough, that the way it is" response.

Lovely hotel, well kept and very comfortable. Not cheap, but worth it.

I have been staying at this hotel for 10 years, but this was my fist time under the new ownership. Definitely an upgrade. Daily room cleaning service now, a nice bar/lounge are. Would be great to see an upgrade to the TV's in the room. VERY low quality and not smart. Would love to see them change up the complimentary breakfast a bit too. Great for a couple days but after 3-4, a little more variety would be nice.

Upstairs creekside room was lovely. The upgrade was worth it. Thank you. The entire stay was very relaxing, quiet and elegant.
