Jonquil Motel

The free on-site parking was a big selling point as we were on a road trip and it made unpacking and packing the car easy and convenient. The location is very good --- just a 5-10 minute downhill walk to the main part of Old Bisbee. The owner gave us a info sheet with recommended tours, restaurants and bars, which was helpful. The rooms were spotlessly clean. The rooms had a nice, authentic, old-fashioned feel, which put us into the vibe of Bisbee.

The room was on the small side and my wife and I felt a bit crowded. On a cold night, the radiator helped heat up the room but not really the bathroom. There were two of us, but only one caffeinated tea bag --- a little awkward when both of us needed a morning wakeup. (The other tea bag was chamomile.) I wish the telepoem phone booth near reception --- a really nice touch --- worked when we were there.

It was very quiet, close to town we could walk or drive. The back area for sitting was relaxing and peaceful.

There was nothing.

Lovely motel. Our large room had a very comfortable king size bed, small kitchen table and nice bathroom. On-site parking and walking distance to much of Bisbee.

What is not to LOVE about this gem. Easy check in, the receptionist was a delight.

Location is good and parking was convenient. The bed was very comfortable. Easy check-in and check-out. I didn't meet any of the staff during my stay so I could not provide a rating.

Too much noise from the road. The separate hot and cold faucets are outdated and should be replaced with a single faucet. Washing hands was awkward because the water was either too hot or too cold. I could hear and feel every time someone in the next room opened and closed their doors. The AC was loud at times. The TV was tiny. There was no Kleenex provided with the toiletries.
