Family hotel The Castle

The location of the hotel is perfect. The hotel provides you with a useful map of Shumen. The breakfast is correct and solid. Someone told me it is a typical breakfast of commie times. :D The garden location for the breakfast is very nice. It is a small hotel and I didn’t need to take 23 lifts or stairs to get to my room. My room was pretty clean. The staff was ready to help, the communication very to the point.

The breakfast is every day the same and you just get what is being served. Personally I don’t care much but I mention this for those who are more sensitive about this issue. The room is small and the bathroom is almost as big as the room. The tap in the bathroom is too big and a hindrance since the sink is pretty low. I found this very awkward. The shower head holder is not practical. Taking a shower hands free is difficult.

The rooms and the bathrooms are nice and clean, the breakfest was good and the staff was always ready to help.

Was a great room with a lovely outside restaurant area. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was supplied with all you would need. The sitting area was comfortable with a view of the city.

Everything was great.

Situated less than 5 minutes walk from the pedestrian street and all it's facilities this Hotel is a little Gem. My room was larger than i expected, immaculately presented, functional and very comfy. the restaurant is good with a varied selection of food and drinks. Included breakfast is traditional Balkanska, perfect and filling for the day ahead. With adequate free parking i give this hotel top marks for everything. Thank you.

the rooms where very clean and the personal was very nice to us, we really appreciated the fact that they waited for us to arrive even though we arrived after the reception closed. very kind and nice, the rooms are spacious and clean. we stayed the night in our way to sunny beach, everything was perfect, we loved our stay and will be returning every time we’ll get the chance to travel to Bulgaria, for sure.
