Hotel Villa Maria

The view is absolutely amazing and the main building as well.

We were staying in the annex which is a bit far from the main building and the room is very basic.

View from the hotel at mealtimes was beautiful. I liked the outside space to sit by our room in the annex. Waiter at breakfast was helpful, he noticed we liked English breakfast tea which they didn’t have, he ordered this for the next day.

It was good, maybe the annex is a slightly unexpected distance from the main hotel but I still enjoyed staying there.

Dalla struttura si gode un panorama meraviglioso. C’è tanto verde intorno, fiori e una terrazza bellissima dove abbiamo fatto colazione e cena. La colazione prevede dolce e salato e con grande varietà di piatti. Abbiamo aggiunto la cena in un secondo momento i piatti erano tutti con ingredienti freschi e cucinati quotidianamente. Staff molto cordiale e professionale. Camere pulite e materassi comodissimi.

Difficile trovare delle pecche.

Location, meals, and the access to a beach club. Amazing location to enjoy the view over a coffee or a wine. Breakfast and the option to partake in a €30 4 course dinner was amazing. Food is lovingly prepared and tastes amazing! The beach club was great, guests could get a discount and the food was great!! Upon check out I was given a jar of homemade jam, which was a lovely touch.

Upon check in, nothing was explained. Usually you're told when breakfast is, what the hotel has to offer, where things are in town. You're kind of left to figure it out on your own or read their signage. I was then palmed off to a cleaning lady and she zoomed up 2 flights of stairs with me lugging my bag (after already carrying up the stairs from the bus stop) On my last day they painted the rooftop (which was the access point to the garden rooms) and when I passed reception on my way up 2 flights of stairs nothing was said. I came back down and asked how I could access the room..again he seemed annoyed and said maybe in 1-2 hours it will be dry. I'd just come from the beach and didn't feel like waiting and said I would like to access my room to shower. After some communication issues, he got the maintenance guy to show me another way. Again I felt he was annoyed, but because no one told me any additional access points how was I to know? I shared a terrace with an adjacent room, which worked out okay. However, guests tended to use the drying line as their personal drying station, which I didn't appreciate. I was especially bothered by my German neighbors hanging men's underwear from my room. Also note the walls are very thin, I could hear every conversation of my neighbours. This may be because they were just loud and / or the walls were thin. They also didn't really show much consideration tbh. Nothing the hotel could do here, but just a warning.
