Finca La Puesta del Sol - Miramar de Sierpe

It was a taste of paradise. A wonderful family run Finca whole only wish is for you to enjoy your stay. The views are breathtaking and will be remembered forever.

It wasn't a dislike but only cash is accepted.

The kind of place where you easily feel at home and never want to leave. The hosts are a lovely family, always ready to help you. The meals cooked for dinner are delicious. We loved our cabin, with a terrace with spectacular views and outdoor bathroom. The nature is wonderful and there´s wildlife all over the place, from ara´s to tamandua´s... A great location too if you want to discover the peninsula with your car. This is an authentic and marvellous place to stay if you seek the more of the beaten track.

A family run finca in the most wonderful location with stunning views over the Osa peninsula. The hosts were all delightful and happy to accommodate our needs.

You do have to cross the river by ferry to get there, which was confusing to begin with until we were told to beep our horn to let the ferryman know we were there.

Everything was awesome, lovely people ! Beautiful rooms, the view is incredible. Next time we will go back here for sure 😊

Welcoming hosts, we felt like coming home to family. Incredible views from the mountain, tour of organic gardens. Loved the pool and evenings spent talking with family and other guests.

You need a 4x4 vehicle on the mountain roads.

The property is situated in an idyllic location on high ground with panoramic views over the surrounding jungle and to the distant coast. The local Tico family owners are very friendly and helpful able to organise trips etc. The food is excellent with tasty local dishes. Access to the property really requires a 4wd but isn’t challenging. This property is a well kept secret that needs to be explored.

Good breakfast, and dinner. remote location on top of a mountain. Lots of birds, amazing sunsets,and view, cool nights. Staff very friendly and accommodating. The bungalows were like cabins with nice decks. If you continue down the road you wind up in Rincon. You are the nightlife here, because of the remoteness. Good tours available.

An incredible view , well worth the journey to get there.

The perfect place for anybody who wants to see for themselves how the pure Costa Rica looks like. The views make up for any inconveniences (you have to take into consideration the more off-road ride to get to) but the views and the incredible stuff make it a dealbreaker. Gabriel, the owner, knows his stuff and showed us all kinds of animals living in the places you could never think of. The best thing of course were the toucans living there.

Stunning view, the sweetest family, very helpfull and welcoming, they organized trips to Corcovado and Cano island for us. If you like nature this is perfect, we had toucans, hummingbirds and macays right on the porch.
