Athabasca Hotel

We stayed at the Athabasca after a night of camping in Jasper. Excellent location with lots of free parking behind the hotel. The room was very very clean! Strong reliable wifi. Shared washroom was near our room and also very very clean. We never had to wait for the washroom! The in-room sink make it easy to wash-up for the evening.

There isn’t a lot of space in the room but if you are just looking for a place to sleep for a night (no mini fridge, no a/c but there is a ceiling fan), the Athabasca Hotel checks all the boxes at a decent price.

This was the cheapest hotel in Jasper at $200pn plus taxes. It was still a rip off. The front desk staff were really rude and unhelpful. The listing said it was a shared bathroom, but not that there were NINE bedrooms sharing 1 male and 1 female bathroom. Each bathroom contains a shower and a toilet with separate locks, but the bathroom could also be locked, meaning someone having a shower could prevent someone from using the only toilet on that floor. There was no soap dispenser in the shower; you had to get the water temp right then get a handful of soap from basin before going into shower cubicle. In the bedroom, the bed took up 80% of the floor space and there were no bedside tables or lights.

Me and my girlfriend stayed in a small cozy room with shared bathroom. Not too bad that I expected, everything was clean and we were lucky that it was not too busy. The staff is really nice and helpful as well. The big bonus is location!!

Chambre petite, vibration toute la nuit dans le lit a cause de la ventilation fonctionne a plein rendement tout le temps dans le couloir et qui doit etre l'air conditionné pour l'etage. Impossible de dormir a cause de toutes ces vibrations.....surtout ne jamais prendre la 202

Lage prima, Hotel schön.

Personal ist ziemlich unfreundlich. Zimmer in Ordnung, aber sehr laut (Klimaanlage vor dem Fenster).
