Hôtel Bois Joly

When we booked our stay we were very excited and the reviews were generally pretty good. When checking in, there was no staff to help us. At night there was screaming, yelling, drinking, smoking and loitering outside our room (below our balcony) which kept us up pretty much all night both nights. When trying to contact front desk, there was no one around to help. Even with the balcony door closed, the shutters closed and the curtains drawn, we were kept up all night (until almost 4am) by other guests (not random people on the street) and their yelling and shouting. The property was nice but the service and noise levels, simply unacceptable. Very disappointed.

We kwamen wat later op de avond aan, het restaurant was nog open, maar toch was er geen mogelijkheid tot roomservice. Er was erg veel herrie vanuit het restaurant en terras wat onder ons raam zat. We hadden de kamer direct bovenaan de trap (die erg veel lawaai maakte), waardoor we iedere gast langs hebben horen komen. De kamer was erg warm, terwijl het buiten niet warmer dan 20 graden is geweest die dag. Het interieur was zeer ouderwets. Wel een heel mooi uitzicht vanuit de kamer.

Hôtel tres agréable avec un personnel remarquable. La vue est magnifique sur Genève et le Mont Blanc au petit matin. Calme et reposant sur le balcon. Une restauration de qualité qui plus est. Adresse a retenir.

Beautiful view, big rooms, comfortable bed and pillows, delicious food, and super helpful staff! I wish i could have stayed another night.
