Great location in Legian.

The property is very, very old and is in desperate need of a makeover.

It is old which is fine however a couple of things could be updated like the kettle and the shower kept falling off the wall

The Location was great

The damp smell was the worst. I was told it is an old building when i said it is dirty. The photos on the internet are highly misleading!!!! .I needed my phone the next morning and didn't know if you switched off the light next to the bed, the wall socket is also off... I charged my phone the next morning, boocked another place, packed, and got out as soon as possible.

The location was fantastic

OMG, this is a really old run down hotel, the linen is terrible, my wife’s clothes had lint everywhere from the towels and bed sheets, the first room that we stayed in had a hole in the Duvet cover. All of the power points are connected to a switch with a light, or kettle so when charging a phone or anything else, the light must remain on. There are exposed wires, cabinets are falling apart. The bathroom mirror is so old that it has rust behind it. The shower water pressure is terrible and the bathroom faucet only has cold water.

The Free welcome drink was a glass of warm water, everything was below expectation. The room looks smaller and was really grubby particularly the bathroom. The bathroom actually looks like it was out of the 1980s. The Wi-Fi was absolutely crap and could not be used. I even had a couple of power cuts Which were to my room only. The room doors are not really secure. Overall it was just yuck.

Lovely older Bali style. Quiet property. Only noise was the 18yr old elephant upstairs. Staff were lovely EXCEPT the sulky uncooperative girl on reception over the weekend. She did not not want to be there and did not want to fix anything. Great blackout curtains. House cleaners, gardeners etc all lovely, friendly, very helpful. Gardens are lovely and well looked after unlike our room. (I suspect they put us in their worst room. It was not by the pool which we asked for.)

The dangerous toilet in our room that was too close to the floor for an adult. Dirty mouldy bathroom with loose plumbing and missing tiles The door adjoining the rooms. We had non smoking. Next door smoked! TV and voice noise came through esp. at night. Room not set up with hand towels and face flannels. No tissues. No milk or whitener for tea/coffee. No hair dryer. Kept at reception! Really? All of which you expect from a hotel or even a guest house Noise from Cocoon across the road all night. Taxi mafia closing beach esplanade to taxis so hard to get in and out. Authorities need to wipe these guys off the map. I should say, we are old 70 so long walks to get services not an option. Great location for younger stayers. Property needs some TLC. WORST was the lazy ladies who operate the franchised restaurant. There is no chance of breakfast before 10 o'clock. That's why there are no included breakfasts but being available from $6 as Bookings.com say is NOT true. You have to go some distance from the hotel to find breakfast before 9 am. Stiff luck if you're on a tourist going on day trips etc.
