Enjoyed the healthy and sumptuous breakfast most - all my favourites. Friendly, respectful and very accommodating staff.

The Eco toilets needs constant managing and takes getting used to.

The eco cottages were spacious and the properties were surrounded by trees, bushes and lots of plants. The terrace was large and the view from there was stunning. The food was awesome and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The eco toilets do smell after a while. I would have preferred to have it emptied daily. Not sure how often it gets emptied as we only stayed for two nights.

Marquis garden is totally another side of Phillipines: no sea, no sand, no rush, no people. A very spacious, quiet, comfortable and cosy accommodation. "Inhouse" driver showed us around all Bohol places of visit which was super convenient (fireflies expierence was just exceptional!). Plus we saved half an hour one way in comparison if we stayed in Palawan. We were so happy we chose Marquis garden in stead of noisy and overcrowded Palawan hotel!!!

Smell of eco-toilet. This eco-concept is slightly ambigious since there is a traditional shared toilet in the hotel. No problem - staff cleans the eco-toilet and one can use shared restroom if one wishes.

Staff are great. Delicious breakfast and evening meal in the restaurant. Room is clean and comfortable. Lovely quiet and peaceful pool with a nice view.

Track to the resort is uneven so a little difficult when driving the scooter

Almost everything, big and nice room, clean, the place is very quiet, the swimming pool…

The location is difficult to find and the road is bumpy

Wonderful location. Peaceful and remote.A sanctuary away from stresses and pressures.

Super beautifully placed bungalows in the hills of Bohol. Bungalows and facilities still very new, of comparatively high quality well managed with great and comforting eye for details. Pool is small but so nice. Such a relaxing place! Management and staff is very helpful and super kind - They even drove us to Tagbilaran with their car once. Restaurant serves really good food. Scooter rental is possible, also here you get a nice and new model (Yamaha Fazzio). We will come back!
