It is THE BEST location in Nungwi. If you are looking for a place in the middle of the action, this place is not for you. But for us was just perfect, for from the noise, and the people selling things on the crowded beaches, but in 20 minutes walking you are in Nungwi village, so, easy access for everything while enjoying the quietness. The room is very silent and comfortable.

The restaurant is not good, the food, the beer is not cold, the breakfast is not good, so if you decide to stay in this hotel, you will probably need to go out for lunch and dinner. Besides that everything was just perfect.

I loved the fact that there was a private beach so we were not haggled by people trying to sell us many things. The pool was clean and warm and had a fantastic view of the ocean. The staff are absolutely superb! Nothing is too much trouble and they go above and beyond to meet your needs. It was my husband's birthday and they made him a cake and we had a special dinner on the beach. We absolutely loved our stay at the Zanzibari.

There was nothing that I did not like. We were so happy and we would have liked to have stayed longer.

It is very pretty as most of the island

The walking way between rooms, pool, restaurant and etc is covered by sand which makes it difficult to pass with suitcases, specially in the time of checkout. There is no AC in the bungalows which makes it impossible to sleep

Staff was very helpful

Booking.com obscured the fact that there was no aircond for the room that we booked. The "love shack" has no aorconditioning, the shower and toilet facilitoes was rudimentary. The flooring to the room is also not tiled. Just cemented. I paid 400 + usd a night for a "shack". It was very depressing!
