The Zanzibari

The place is nice. Just next to see. You have a great view from redort.

Breakfast choice was so so. Food is expensive and not much variation.

Everything was just perfect. Place, rooms, location, staff, food, atmosphere! I could not recommend more!!!! This place was fantastic!

In the pictures, there are only sea view rooms, there aren't garden rooms that are different than those in the pictures.

Beautiful views, very comfortable areas to relax. The staff is very helpful. Easy to get activity recommendations and transportation.

Lovely views from our room and very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and the hotel facilities were adequate.

There was a lack of a private beach to swim in the sea. There is beachfront access however this stretch of beach is littered with touters aggressively selling boat trips, massages or zoo tickets.

The views from the beach were incredible, the size of the Zanzibari is ideal if you’re looking for something in-between a mega resort and say a single private property listing on Airbnb, Ida working front desk was a pleasure (impeccable English and very resourceful young lady), Abuh and Tridah were wonderful staff as well with great energy and smiles - always so accommodating and considerate. Breakfast was always fresh and fun. The main pool was great in size. There were always towels and free water available.

The tours through the hotel were never good deals Would have preferred to do all my business in one place for the sake of convenience but found highly rated and affordable alternatives outside the hotel. This wasn’t an issue but maybe an additional key would’ve been nice for convenience if one person is doing a separate activity and schedules aren’t aligned. Just in general Tanzania and Zanzibar were marketed as cheaper or “more economical” alternatives to Mauritius and Seychelles but it came out to about the same as an all inclusive in Seychelles so would’ve preferred to see minimally smaller prices on say the lunch and dinner menus but at the end of the day wasn’t anything shocking (comparable to EU costs) (slightly less of course but not drastically) Basically wasn’t as much of a bargain destination as I had intended

Can't find any disadvantages at all. Only positive experiences.
